Summary

As a child, Charlotte Bailey witnessed the murder of her mother and brother by her biological father. At the funeral, after capturing evidence on camera, her father cruelly threw her into the sea upon discovery, but luckily she was rescued by the Yates family head who was passing by. Fourteen years later, Charlotte returned to Bredford for revenge for her mother and brother. Through a series of serendipitous events, she met Major General Samuel and discovered he was her fiancé. Samuel Morris was convinced Charlotte was the love of his life. As Charlotte fell deeply in love with Samuel, she witnessed her brother Austin being killed by her lover and accidentally injured Samuel. Through many misunderstandings, their feelings for each other became steadfast, leading the two lovers to finally become husband and wife.
